For the past 10 years, Asia Times Square has organized a Festival for the Dallas – Fort Worth area to create an environment for all to come and celebrate the Lunar New Year. What started in 2008 as a small Flower Market Festival (Đêm Chợ Hoa) has blossomed into a grand festival with vendors, performances, family activities, and much more. 🐾This year festival will continue to grow in scope and size. It will be avibrant celebration of Southeast Asian arts, activities, and culture. It will undoubtedly be the premier Asian event in North Texas 🐾The Missions of ATS Lunar New Year are: - To preserve the different cultures of Southeast Asia. - To promote Southeast Asian cultures and traditions to the communities - To provide opportunities for companies and organizations for community outreach, allowing them to promote and offer their products and services to the Asian communities of Dallas – Fort Worth. - To offer youth organizations a chance to participate in leadership development, community service, and fundraising opportunities to support cultural and education programs. - To observe and celebrate the New Lunar Year. 🐶 For sponsor, booth vendor, volunteer performer 's opportunities, please feel free to contact us: Hoang Le 469 774 4331 My Linh 682 808 0756

Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated after a crop harvest season in Southeast Asian countries such as China, Vietnam, Singapore, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, and Japan etc. The festival takes place on month 8 day 15 of the Lunar calendar, which is today, October 4th, 2017.

It is the second most important festival only behind the Lunar New Year. This festival also has a meaning of family reunion and peace.

It is also known as "the Moon Festival" as it is celebrated when the moon is believed to be the biggest and fullest. While you look up the sky tonight, please know that we at Hong Kong Market Place are thankful and graceful for all your love and support. We wish you and your family peace and harmony, and may your family reunion be memorable.
